The thin line between living and dying,
a life worth while, a death besides.
Knotted you have my insides and me taught to you,
tied to it, life. A day away is as if you died,
that day spent with two duck companions, at our beach.
Until this day I did not recognize my faults,
seeing only the lack of joys. I now cherish the precious.
I wish for that life over death and with you.
Come home. I’ll wait.
